By accessing or using WetSign (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WetSign is a document processing tool that applies visual effects to PDF files to simulate the appearance of scanned documents. The Service is provided “as is” for personal and business use.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must not use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Forge, falsify, or misrepresent documents for fraudulent purposes
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service

You are solely responsible for the documents you process and how you use the output. WetSign is a document formatting tool and makes no representations about the legal validity of processed documents.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Free accounts are subject to usage limits as described on the pricing page.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have billing concerns.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any documents you upload and process through the Service. We claim no rights over your content. The Wet Signature name, logo, and Service software are our property.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WetSign shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
